The damage continued east towards Ottoman Road where a carport was destroyed, along with additional trees that were snapped and uprooted. The owner sustained only minor injuries as he rolled over with his house, crawling out of a hole after it settled. Notes:  Storm Data puts this tornado at Fort Knox. April 3, 1974 NSSL's phased array radar produces high-resolution data that can be used to spot developing tornadoes. The NTDA was trained to find tornado probabilities by looking at storm radar data from thousands of storms from 2011–2016. Noted discrepancies:  SPC and NCDC call this an F3, Grazulis calls it an F2. Notes:  A short-lived tornado with winds to 90 mph touched down 4.25 miles southwest of Albany. Noted discrepancies:  SPC gives a path width of 20 yards, NCDC says 27 yards, Storm Data says 25 yards. However, just to the east of this location, along Coats Road, a metal outbuilding was destroyed consistent with EF-1 damage. Grazulis lists this tornado at 6:15pm.
