When it came to the bill I was informed 20% had been taken off for my trouble, but a service charge was also added on so I barely got any compensation for a disappointing and quite frankly embarrassing visit as I was treating my Gran that I had not seen in a very long time!! The Waldorf Astoria hotel’s Peacock Alley can’t, at present, welcome guests for afternoon tea but you can now enjoy the sweet treats at home. We had a great afternoon out.
